The Vancouver Island 2012 Travel Planner is for both residents of British Columbia and Alberta, plus the short-haul and long-haul visitors to our region looking for a comprehensive guide that is readily available and filled with useful information on accommodation, transportation, attractions, adventure tourism, festivals and events, food and beverage, tourism services and general information.
We are pleased to announce the launch of their new website, VancouverIslandTouristInformation.com, which includes information for both readers and advertisers. A custom client upload area allows advertisers to send larger files to Vancouver Island Travel Planner that would be unsuitable for email. The website is also supported by our robust Content Management System, allowing Vancouver Island Travel Planner staff to update their website 24/7.
We have just launched the new design for the Vancouver Island Trails Information Society, which is a non-profit society dedicated to providing information to the public about parks and trails on Vancouver Island since 1972. The look of their earlier website was very out-dated and they came to us wanting to bring their website presence up to 2010 standards. As well as an update to the design of the website, we also upgraded the back-end of the website allowing them to more easily update all the content and photos on their website.
