Las Vegas SkylineA Long-Expected Journey

As many of you know, Shawn and his wife Elizabeth have several children. Over the course of time, educating and caring for them has been the forefront of their existence. So much so, that Shawn and Elizabeth have not had a vacation alone together in 24 years. Yes, the Berlin wall was still standing when Shawn and Elizabeth last ventured out into the world without at least a couple of their children in tow. Well, last week that all changed. Finally, and with great upheaval, they went to Vegas together for a few days. Like a career military man, we commend Shawn on his service to family and company over many years; you deserve it. Congratulations!

Golf is a Four Letter Word

Golfer DanIn spite of Dan’s increased responsibilities at home, it seems that he has more and more time for golf – must be nice! In all seriousness, as the only golfer in our office, Dan is ear-marked for every charity tournament that Radar Hill has chosen to support. Recently, we have donated prizes, sponsorship, and Dan’s time to some very worthy causes: The Shelter Foundation, The Mustard Seed, Victoria Hospice, and the United Way.

Bleeding for a Cause

Radar Hill Partner Roger has issued a challenge to staff to match his own personal drive to give blood as much as possible. Several members of the staff have pitched in and contributed, literally giving their life’s blood to this worthy endeavor. Roger himself is leading by example: he’s approaching 50 pints of donated blood. Well done! Want to donate? Read Roger’s Blood Donation Preparation Tips.

The New iPhone is Here!

The new iPhone 6 isn’t simply bigger — it’s better in every way. If you are one of the lucky few to have the new iPhone in your hand, it’s time to learn! Even if you won’t have the new iPhone for a while, the new iOS 8 is packed full of new features you can access with older iPads and previous generations of the iPhone. Radar Hill has partnered with ReStart Computer as our preferred Apple support company. ReStart offers weekly seminars, drop in one-on-one sessions and on-site tutorial and training.
