New Website Launched: A Healing Path Massage

Michelle Frazer is a registered massage therapist in Ladysmith, BC who wants to help her clients stay well. She is non-judgemental, empathetic and understands the nature of pain. She works with her clients to come up with a plan of action together.

Michelle was a client of JoeyToes, which Radar Hill acquired last year. We started the process of re-designing her website last October, providing her with a Graphic Design Assessment. The assessment gave her an idea of what was working with her current website and what needed some work. Shawn visited Michelle in Ladysmith to learn more about her business and provide her with a written quote. The next step, was to meet with Graphic Designer Megan to discuss the look and feel of the website. They talked via Skype — Michelle and Shawn in Ladysmith and Megan in Victoria. It was a first, but was very successful!

Michelle and Megan both loved the existing logo, so we used the logo as inspiration for a new website design. The design needed to be creative, fun and unique and responsive. Radar Hill used a large serene background photo and vibrant colours to reflect Michelle’s business and idea of “handcrafted therapy”. We also created business cards, a constant contact template and installed a template at appointment.com to accompany the website.

About ken

Ken started experimenting with web design and construction over a decade ago, and has spent countless hours agonising over layouts in Photoshop and marking up websites since then. He strives to create websites that are easy to use, functional, and stunning to look at. By taking time to fully understand the needs and goals of each project Ken aims to create design solutions that not only look great, but serve a purpose. When not creating solutions for the web, Ken can often be found picking banjo, jumping in lakes, and checking out live music around town.
