Website Redesign: Kami Norman

Kami Norman of Royal Lepage Coast Capital has been a Radar Hill client since 2003.   Her original website design, though it was great at the time, had been outpaced by the changes in technology.

The old design, as it appeared on one of our wide screen monitors.

As you can see, it was time for a change.  Kami came to Radar Hill with some well developed ideas about the new look that she had in mind.  A friend helped her communicate her ideas visually, and they sent us a design “style guide” with samples of colours, fonts, and background patterns that she liked.

In our design meeting we discussed the requirements for the site, such as the layout and photography, and from there we developed two design proofs for her to choose from.  She picked the one she liked best, and with a few changes, we arrived at the final design.

Her new website is built using modern CSS and HTML5 techniques.  Using our new Pyramid CMS, Kami will be able to edit her website content herself.  She will also be able to  add documents and open house information to her real estate listings using LIMO, our listings administration tool.

About ken

Ken started experimenting with web design and construction over a decade ago, and has spent countless hours agonising over layouts in Photoshop and marking up websites since then. He strives to create websites that are easy to use, functional, and stunning to look at. By taking time to fully understand the needs and goals of each project Ken aims to create design solutions that not only look great, but serve a purpose. When not creating solutions for the web, Ken can often be found picking banjo, jumping in lakes, and checking out live music around town.
