Holiday Hours: Radar Hill will be closed over the holidays. Our office will re-open on Tuesday, January 3rd. Throughout the holidays, as always, our server techs will be on duty 24/7/365. If any issue or situation arises with any of our servers, or with the network connecting our servers, our techs are alerted within 5 minutes. Rest assured that, even if our office is closed, any issues are still being promptly dealt with. If you do need to reach us in a genuine emergency, email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be monitoring that email address over the holidays. If you are on Twitter, you can follow and Direct Message (DM) us at: @radarhill
Open House iPad Winner: We held our 10th Annual Open House on Thursday November 24th. Our clients and friends enjoyed refreshments by Cheryl’s Gourmet Pantry, Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub, Blue Haze Farm, and Caitlin’s Famous Samosas. Live music was provided by Los Gringos Locos.
Entry to our prize draws was by supplying us with a testimonial. Videographer Michael Tourigny was on hand to film video testimonials. We received video, audio, and written testimonials. The grand prize of an iPad 2 was won by Yellow Sheet Construction Data. Runner-up prizes were won by Sandy Berry, Roger Lévesque’s Executive Assistant April Ray, and Gary McInnis. The best video testimonials will be edited and posted to our YouTube channel. We will let you know when they are up. Listening to those testimonials was a humbling experience. It makes us appreciate our clients and our staff, and makes me appreciate my business partners.
Hiring Process: We have been going through the hiring process for Awesome Andrea’s maternity replacement. We have been interviewing many highly qualified people. If you are thinking of hiring a part-time assistant or receptionist/bookkeeper in the new year, let us know and we can put you in touch with some of them.
Hotmail Issues: Having trouble sending to Hotmail email addresses? Radar Hill’s own Kendra Savich has investigated the issue and wrote in our blog: Hotmail’s not looking so cool – It is not a good situation.

Quote: I hate it when people call themselves ‘entrepreneurs’ when what they’re really trying to do is launch a startup, so they can cash in and move on. They’re unwilling to do the work it takes to build a real company, which is the hardest work in business. That’s how you really make a contribution and add to the legacy of those who went before. You build a company that will still stand for something a generation or two from now. That’s what Walt Disney did, and Hewlett and Packard, and the people who built Intel. They created a company to last, and not just to make money. – Steve Jobs, Founder of Apple Computers and Pixar. Source
