We have received a few comments made directly to us recently about the content of a website we created. We found this surprising, as we do not create the content for the majority of websites that we construct. To us, the situation is pretty clear: it’s your website, display what you want!
Of course, there are some legal and ethical boundaries that we expect our clients to respect. Some of our clients might not know of these boundaries, so we thought this may be an opportune time to remind everyone just how we operate with respect to content.
- We don’t support pornography, discriminatory, inflammatory, harassing or illegal activities
- Radar Hill will assume no liability for the content
- Acceptable Use: Customers are expected to exhibit good netiquette. Adult content is not permitted. Other specific activities that are prohibited include, but are not limited to: threatening harm to persons or property or otherwise harassing behavior; fraudulently representing products/services using customers accounts; facilitating, aiding, or encouraging any of the above activities. In all cases Radar Hill has the final say on what does and does not constitute an Acceptable Use.
As a consequence of this most recent issue, we will begin adding a disclaimer to the bottom of our clients’ websites:
The content of this website is the responsibility of the website owner.
New Design: Anna Clemente – A Victoria Real Estate agent with Royal Lepage. Her site provides clients access to all of Anna’s listings, information about Victoria and its real estate market, and her associates. An added feature is an integrated Private Client Services login within the site, which allows clients to sign up and search for properties based on their own unique criteria. Visit her site…
